Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.chinacenter.net.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

This site uses two analytics tools. Plausible Analytics is privacy-first: it sets no cookies, collects no personal data and does not track visitors across sites. Google Analytics 4 is also enabled, and it does set cookies and may share data with Google. Both record which pages are read and roughly where readers come from, so we can see which research is being used. Neither is used to build a profile of you or to serve advertising.

Forms

The contact form is delivered by Web3Forms, which passes your message to us by email, and we store what you send us and nothing else. The newsletter signup is handled by Buttondown, our email newsletter provider, which stores your email address and list preferences to send you the issues you request. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue or by writing to info@chinacenter.net.

Who we share your data with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or trade contact details.

Your rights

Write to info@chinacenter.net and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
