Wes McGinnis Joins the Center as an Intern

November 8, 2009

The Center is pleased to announce that Wes McGinnis has joined the Center as an intern this semester. Wes is currently a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology studying International Affairs with an emphasis on China. Wes first visited China during the summer of 2001 on a summer program while pursuing a business degree during his undergraduate studies. After graduation he moved to Chongqing, China, where he studied Mandarin for two years. He then worked for more than a year with a company that sent him to China on several occasions to source their products. Those experiences led him to pursue his current studies. This summer Wes will have the opportunity to serve as the Graduate Assistant to the Georgia Tech Industrial and Systems Engineering’s study abroad program in Singapore and Beijing. Upon graduation he plans to pursue a career in China.
