Dr. Jin Liu is associate professor in the School of Modern Languages. Her book is Signifying the Local: Media Productions Rendered in Local Languages in Mainland China in the New Millennium, Leiden: Brill, 2013.

Dr. Qi Wang is associate professor in the School of Literature, Communication and Culture. Her book is Memory, Subjectivity and Independent Chinese Cinema (Edinburgh Studies in East Asian Film), Edinburgh, Edinburgh University Press, 2014.

This event is organized by the China Research Center, the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy, and the Georgia Tech CIBER.  The event is free and open to the public.
