"Mediatizing the Nation: China's Contested National Identity"

This mini-conference gathers top scholars on Chinese media and nationalism, along with media and cultural practitioners to discuss issues ranging from China's cyber nationalism, to its global nation-branding through the media, to the contestation of China?s national image by international news outlets and audiences. It presents an innovative and unique forum for engaging with the linkages between China's evolving media system and its national imagery.
