The World Affairs Council of Atlanta Young Leaders are hosting an evening briefing on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the GSU Buckhead Center, Tower Place 200 to discuss the Global Footprint of Chinese Technology.  The evening kicks off with a networking reception at 6:30pm and the program goes from 7:00-8:15pm.

Featured speakers include Katherine Peavy,  Partner at Cross Pacific, Alexandra Tirado, CEO of Fortuna Holdings International, Joseph Bankoff, Chair of Georgia Tech’s Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, and Christopher Chan, Partner at Eversheds Sutherland.

China is determined to lead the global supply chains and production networks that depend on cutting edge innovation and technology. The world’s second largest economy, China has benefited from our heavy investment in research and development. Now the question begs, will Beijing itself become the global venue for groundbreaking technologies  Join the WAC Young Leaders for this evening briefing to discuss whether China can surpass the U.S. in innovation.
