Faculty Seminar Lunch, Monday, April 11, 12:00-2:00, Goizueta Business School, Room 500. The Emerging Pattern of a Crowdfunding Ecosystem: A Multi-case Exploratory Research in China. Discover new insights and directions for the development of crowdfunding platforms. Previous research has largely examined how organizations differed in their use of crowdfunding within institutional contexts from a demand perspective, yet little is known about the supply side perspective. Based on six exploratory case studies in China, Dr. Li proposes a research framework with two forms of entrepreneurship ecosystems embedded within the crowdfunding platform: extrovert-generating and introvert-aggregating ecosystems.
