Wan-Li Ho
Dr. Wan-Li Ho is a senior lecturer in the Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Culture at Emory University and teaches Chinese language and culture. She received her Master of Divinity at Taiwan Theological College and her Ph.D.in Religious Studies from Temple University, where she also earned a graduate certificate in Women’s Studies. Her research interests include Chinese language pedagogy, application of technology in language studies, Chinese religionsand comparative thought, religion and environmental issues, and Asian women’s studies. She has published three books and numerous book chapters and journal articles.
William Foster
William Foster is a Senior Research Associate at the Georgia Tech Sam Nunn School of International Affairs’ Center for International Strategy, Technology and Policy (CISTP). His research has focused on Chinese Science and Technology. For the past 10 years, he taught at Arizona State University where he focused on Science, Technology, and Society. Dr. Foster earned his PhD from the University of Arizona with a major in Management Information Systems and a Minor in Chinese Studies. His dissertation on the “Diffusion of the Internet in China” was published by CISAC at Stanford University in 2001.
Andrew Wedeman
Andrew Wedeman received his doctorate in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994 and is a Professor of Political Science at Georgia State University. Prior to this appointment, he spent eighteen years with the Department of Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), where he also served as the Director of the Asian Studies Program and the Director of the UNL International Studies Program. In addition he has held posts a visiting research professor at Beijing University, a Visiting Associate Professor of Political Science at the Johns Hopkins Nanjing University Center for Sino-American Studies and a Fulbright Research Professorship at Taiwan National University during 2001-2.
