Dr. Shixin Jiao, a researcher with the Asia-Pacific Institute of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences is spending the September 2010-March 2011 period as a visiting scholar at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs of Georgia Tech. Dr. Jiao holds a Ph.D. from Fudan University, School of International Relations and Public Affairs. He has researched in the areas of China’s relations with Southeast Asia, China’s soft power, and China’s relation to international human rights regimes. His current research while at Tech focuses on the parameters of PRC-US cooperation in the area of nuclear non-proliferation. Dr. Jiao may be reached via email at [email protected].
