Georgia Tech Completes another Successful Student Study Abroad Program:

Fei-ling Wang and Haizheng Li, both professors at Georgia Tech, led twenty students this summer on an eight-week study program in China. The seminar focused on China’s current political and economic situation and reforms. The students studied both at Fudan University in Shanghai and People’s University in Beijing. They also traveled widely, including trips to Xian, Chongqing, Hangzhou, and the Three Gorges on the Yangze River. The students came from a number of universities, including Duke University and the University of South Carolina, as well as Georgia Tech. This program has well over a hundred alumni and is a very highly regarded for its academic excellence and its adventure.

The program Director, Professor Wang, is already recruiting for next summer. The dates will be May 12- July 7, 2003. Six to nine credit hours can be earned. If interested, please contact Professor Wang at 404-894-1904 or [email protected].
