Originally from China, Dongni Charlotte Zhang is a junior at Emory University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. Her professional interests are Sino-U.S. foreign relations, social media, and social policy in East Asia. As a result of an internship at Habitat for Humanity at their International Office in China, she discovered her genuine interests in social welfare and public policy. Over the past summer, she was a research intern at the Georgia House Democratic Caucus where she conducted research on district presentation and media converge of voting registration legislation in the U.S. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and editing, traveling, volunteering and exploring local restaurants with friends.
