Speakers' Bios

Mike Revzin is a journalist who covered China for four years in the 1980s, during the early years of reforms. More recently, he spent two years working as a newspaper and magazine editor and writer in Shanghai, coming back to Atlanta late last year. He recently launched ChinaSeminars.Com whose purpose is to help Americans learn about China.

Jungwon (Wonnie) Yoon is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the History and Sociology of Technology and Science at Georgia Tech. Her research focuses on social studies of science and technology, innovation systems in Asian developing countries, and science, technology and innovation policy.

Ambassador Pearson has a Ph.D. in Semiotics from Georgia Tech. For the last ten years he has served as an Academic Ambassador to China for Logic, Semiotics, and Peirce Studies. He is also the current Secretary of the USCPFA. He is an independent investor and is internationally recognized for his work in Chinese technology.
