Dr. Cheng, Visiting Scholar at Georgia Tech

Dr. Qun CHENG is a visiting scholar at the Center of International Strategy, Technology and Policy (CISTP) of Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology from March 2014 until February 2015.

Dr Cheng received her PHD degree in history at Fudan University in 2002. She is teaching courses on Contemporary Chinese Politics for undergraduate students at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). She also teaches courses on Contemporary Western Political Thought, and Selected Readings of Western Political Classics for master degree students. She is associate professor and advisor for master degree students of political theory at the Institute of Humanities Research at ECUST. She has published articles on international affairs focusing on cyber security policy and strategy. Her current research is focused on American cyber security policy and US-China Cyber relations, exploring perspectives on how to achieve a harmonious relationship between U.S. and China.
