Dr. Wang earned her bachelor degree in economics from Harbin Normal University in 1993 and her M.A.degree in 1996. She has taught at Dalian Maritime University for the last ten years. She earned her Ph.D. from Northeast University of Finance & Economics and now is an associate professor in the College of Economics & Management at DMU. She has published more than 20 articles on the Chinese economy focusing on macro economics, fiscal institution building and economic reform issues.

Dr. Wang is visiting at the Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University, from August 2006 until February 2007.
