| Dr. Walcott is Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She specializes in regional economic development, both in the U.S. and abroad. She has conducted extensive research on the Special Economic Zones and high-tech parks in China. She has lived in Taiwan, traveled extensively in Asia, and speaks Chinese. | |
