The
Center for International Training and Services at KSU's Continuing Education
specializes in providing a wide variety of customized training programs for
foreign government officials, business executives, professionals, and students.
Achievement and Recognition
Since 1992, 87 programs have been completed for approximately 1,400 participants from China, representing wide varieties of government agencies and industries. In addition, programs have been offered to participants from Taiwan and Africa. KSU's International Training Program won an award in 1994 as the Outstanding International Continuing Higher Education Program by the Association for Continuing Higher Education. In 1999, the Chinese national government selected Kennesaw State University as one of the five training bases to provide professional training programs for China in the US. KSU is the only one in the Southeastern United States with this status.
KSU
Continuing Education works closely with other institutions in the university
system.
Faculty
members from other universities and colleges are involved in the training
programs in the areas of their expertise. Many government officials from federal,
state and local agencies are invited as guest speakers to share their working
knowledge with delegates.
